Smokedown

We encourage every level of BBQ expert and smoker to join the competition. Our Smokedown judges will be selecting 10 winners from each of these three categories: Spare Ribs, Chicken and Brisket. Overall Grand Champion and Reserve Champion will also be selected!

It Ain't About Us - It's About The Students

The Smokedown is designed exclusively to fulfill the Syndicate’s mission of making the dreams of young livestock exhibitors come true through educational scholarships. We accomplish this by awarding $10,000 scholarships to Texas 4-H and Texas FFA students pursing careers in agriculture or life sciences at a Texas state sponsored university.
